Notes for WILLIAM THORNBURGH: There is a an apparent conflict in the line here which may be a 2nd marriage or a different Elianor or a different Musgrave? The Musgrave family was one of the oldest and largest in Westmoreland and Cumberland. Elianor Musgrave married William Thornburgh whose father was William Thornburgh married to Margaret Washington. William had 3 brothers: Rowland, Edward and Leonard. Their father was William de Thornburgh married to Eleanor Selsed married in time of Ric. II 1377-99. Of Hamsfeld, lived in reign of Henry VI 1422-61

Notes for THOMASIN BELLINGHAM: In 15 Eliz. 1573 Thomasin Thornburgh held 15 dwellings in Whitwell of Kendall, Westmoreland. She died in 26 Eliz. 1584. She also held and willed: Hampsfield, Palton, Lambrigg, Lang Sledale, Dalefoot and Selside.
