| My name is Cheryl Post and my maiden name is Thornburg. This site will continue an investigation started many years ago by my Great Uncle, Dwight H. Thornburg. He spent 25 years and numerous trips to Great Britain gathering information. His efforts resulted in Thornburgh History. This is a limited edition of 7 books that have handmade end sheets, binding, and hand tooling done by Karl Bitterolf. The information in this book and my own visits to Cartmel have been invaluable and I would like to share some of this with other interested people.
